How Can I Import Drafts into DraftMate Prior to Installing?

Importing drafts that you may currently have in Shopify before installing DraftMate can be done simply by following the steps below:

1. Navigate to the Shopify admin page

 2. Click the orders tab

3. Click the drafts tab

4. Navigate to the draft(s) that you would like to import into DraftMate.

 5. Add a unique tag to the drafts you would like to import. This can be done individually or in bulk.

6. Click update draft order in the top right of the draft you are currently editing

Once a tag is added to the draft(s) they will be imported into DraftMate.

How Do I Stop a Draft Order from Being Processed?

To stop any draft that may be in process simply follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Shopify admin page

 2. Click on the orders tab

3. Click on the drafts tab

4. Navigate the draft you would like to stop

5. Add the tag: DM:STOP to the draft you are currently editing

6. Click update draft order at the top right of the draft you are currently editing

This will change the status of the draft in DraftMate.
Note: if you would like to resume a draft that has been stopped simply remove the DM:STOP tag and click update draft order in the top right of the draft that you are currently editing.

How Do I Change the Text of the Email Sent by DraftMate?

Every email that is sent using DraftMate can be edited to your liking. Follow these steps below:

1. Navigate to the DraftMate app

2. Click on the send invoice action that you would like to update the email on

3. You will be prompted with a subject line and message box where you can update the email contents.

4. Click save at the bottom of the page.
Note: Any email entered must be an email that is a store owner or staff member in your Shopify settings.

How Can I See Analytics for My Drafts in DraftMate?

Unfortunately, DraftMate does not have the functionality to show analytics for drafts at this time. Coming Soon.

How Can I Check If a Draft Order Has Been Resent and the System Is Working Correctly?

You have the ability to view the history of the DraftMate invoices to ensure that the system is working properly by following the steps below:

1. Navigate to the Shopify admin page

2. Click the orders tab

3. Click the drafts tab

4. Navigate to the draft you would like to see

5. If you scroll down to the timeline section on the draft you will have the ability to see if DraftMate has sent an invoice to this customer

How Can I Reorder the Steps in DraftMate?

Unfortunately, there is no current functionality to reorder steps in DraftMate. A workable solution, for the time being, can be done by following the steps below:

1. Navigate to the DraftMate app

2. Click on the action you would like to reorder

3. Click delete. This will remove the current action in place.

4. Click add action

5. Create the new action you would like to add in place and click add action once complete
This will add the new action to your task list.
Repeat this process until your list is in the correct order.

I Want to Check the Time Delay before the Next Action Ie 24 Hours 72 etc, Is That Based on the Original Draft Invoice Date/Time or off the Previous Action?

The time delay is based on the previous action in the list of action steps in the DraftMate app.

DraftMate Can Automatically Send Out Emails for Existing Draft Orders. Is This Different from the “Send Invoice”/“Resend Invoice” Emails? 

This feature is the same as the Send Invoice/Resend Invoice emails. The difference is that DraftMate allows you to edit the emails that will be sent to the customer for each step of the process.

Is There an Easy Way to Include a Link to Pay Similar to the Native Manual Functionality?

Unfortunately, there is no current functionality in DraftMate for this feature at the moment.

Can DraftMate Send Payment Reminders/Invoice Emails for Orders As Well?

Unfortunately, this functionality only works on draft orders as of right now.

How Can I Edit My Task List?

Every task list has the ability to edit, add, or remove tasks. Simply follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to the DraftMate app

2. Click on the Add Action button

3. Add the action that you would like to add to your task list.

4. Click save
Repeat these steps if you would like to add more actions to the task list.

How Do I Have DraftMate Send Drafts More than Just Once after 24 Hours?

DraftMate allows you to easily add actions to send invoices whenever you feel necessary. Simply follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to the DraftMate app

2. Click the add action button

3. Create a new send invoice action to send out whenever you would like to

4. Click save
Configure the list based on how you would like DraftMate to process your draft orders.

How Can I Rerun a Draft Order in DraftMate?

Unfortunately, there is no functionality in DraftMate to rerun the same exact draft order. A workaround, for the time being, can be done If you copy the draft that you would like to rerun as a new draft and then DraftMate will process that new draft order.

To duplicate a draft simply follow these steps below:

1. Navigate to the Shopify admin page

2. Click the orders tab

3. Click the drafts tab

4. Click on the draft you would like to duplicate

5. Click the duplicate button on the top right
